Bugaboo Car Seat Adapters have been voluntarily recalled due to a safety hazard. The seat adapter has a propensity to disconnect from the stroller frame and fall. The adapters are devices designed to attach car seats to stroller frames. They are made of silver aluminum tubing and black plastic connecting parts. They have been sold at Babies "R" Us, Buy Buy Baby, Neiman Marcus, and other department stores. Affected models are 80400GC01 and 80401GC02 and they retail fro approximately $45. Consumers should stop using this product, and contact Bugaboo for a free service kit.
